Dr. Li Kouqing Visits IFT
On June 29, Deputy Director-General of the AFDC Dr. Li Kouqing and Director Dr. Peng Runzhong paid a visit to the Institute of Financial Training (IFT) of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam. They met with Director of IFT Dr. Nguyen Van Tao and exchanged opinions on preparations for the coming events to be held this year as well as cooperation to be carried out in 2011.
As discussed at the meeting, both sides will make every effort to implement all the activities planned for this year and two training workshops will be held in Vietnam and China respectively next year for Vietnamese finance officials. In addition, both sides will jointly organize three distance seminars and two thematic seminars next year. Both sides also agreed to evaluate the three-year cooperation in the second half of next year and a second three-year cooperation framework may be proposed based on the evaluation results.
