AFDC attended the annual meeting of GDLN AP
AFDC sent staff to attend the 2014 Annual Meeting of GDLN AP held from 28 April to 2 May in Canberra, Australia. The meeting was hosted by Crawford School of Public Policy, the Australian National University in collaboration with LIW3: Leading Initiatives Worldwide and BLI: Blended Learning International. About 30 participants from 11 countries in the Asian-Pacific Region attended this meeting. Mr. Philip Karp, Regional GDLN Coordinator, East Asia and Pacific, World Bank, Mr. Tom Kompas, Professor of Economics, Director of Crawford School of Public Policy addressed the opening ceremony.
The meeting reviewed the development status of GDLN AP and focused on the regional knowledge exchange programs and other potential programs to be carried out in 2014. Presentations on topics about Climate Risks, Pacific Islands Development and Use of New Technologies were delivered and a training workshop introducing the OLA: 'Organizational Leadership Architecture' was conducted for the participants.
